01Using Pawmoku

These terms cover your use of Pawmoku, provided by Viral App Labs LLC. By using the game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. The App Store's own licence terms also apply.

02Your licence

We give you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to use Pawmoku in accordance with these terms. This gives you permission to play the game, not ownership of its software or content.

03Treats

Treats are a licence to use in-game items. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another person, and can only be used in Pawmoku. Purchased Treats never expire.

Purchases are handled by the App Store. Request refunds through the App Store under its policies. If a purchase is refunded, the Treats it added are removed. This can leave a negative balance. Spending pauses until the balance is zero or above.

What Treats buy, and the Treat cost of items, may change. The game shows the current options before you spend.

Items bought with Treats are kept on the device they were bought on. Only the Treats balance follows your anonymous ID to a new device. [CONFIRM: decision 14, device storage of purchased items].

Treats never affect team scores or rankings. Solves that use a hint or check do not count toward your team's score or set a best time.

04Fair play

Please play fairly. Do not cheat, automate play, use modified clients or exploit bugs. We may leave results that look invalid out of team standings. If something seems wrong, contact us so we can review it.

05Names and links

Display names are generated by the game. Challenge and invite links are for sharing with people you know. Please use these features respectfully.

06Our work

© Viral App Labs LLC. The game's puzzles, art, text and software are protected by intellectual property laws. Do not copy, extract or redistribute them, except through the game's own sharing features or as permitted by law.

07Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features of the game. We do not promise future content or release dates. We aim to keep connected features available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We will provide notice of material changes when required by law.

08Our responsibilities

We provide the game with reasonable care, but cannot promise that it will always be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties that are not required by applicable consumer law.

We are responsible for losses caused by our failure to use reasonable care where those losses were reasonably foreseeable. We are not responsible for business losses from personal use of the game or losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other liability that cannot legally be limited. Your mandatory consumer rights remain in place.

09Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction TO FILL]. This choice does not take away any mandatory consumer protections or rights to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction that apply to you.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Pawmoku changes. We will post the revised terms here with a new effective date and provide notice of material changes when required. Please review them when notified of a change.
